Dear first mama Shela and Papa Cliff too,
I’m very happy with my new family in Napa. The new humans are really good to me. I get to go on vineyard walks every day with the big dogs. It makes me really tired but I love it. And I’m getting to be a really big dog now: I weigh 12 pounds! And we went to the vet who said I am beautiful. I thought she was beautiful too until she stuck me with something sharp. She wants to get one just like me. My human gave her a card from you.
My new human mom gave me a bone today and I really liked it. I tried to bite her when she took it away, so we had to have a little conversation about that. I think I understand now, but I just get so excited.
We get to go swimming when the weather is really hot. It makes me feel really good and then I have to run around.
I’m learning new manners that are the way things are done here:
I don’t mess inside the house
I sit when I am asked to, or before my food comes to me.
AND, guess what! Last night my new big brother played with me. We ran and jumped and played just like I did with my littermates. We made Mom and Dad laugh.

We are totally smitten with our Roz!!!
She is a full member of the family now. She has learned her manners nicely and has mastered a few commands. She is rapidly becoming the queen of the household. (You are not even slightly surprised, are you?)
At her last Vet trip (Monday August 1st) she weighed in at 18 pounds. At that weight is a feisty playmate for our Vizsla. He is going to love running with her when she gets bigger.
Thank you again for doing such a good job with her in the early weeks. The handling and the love you gave her shines through!
